“We had some amazing days at Black Lava Camp - nice tents, friendly staff and the most fantastic views. We stayed in the Potato 5 tent which is right above the viewing platform and it was such a pleasure to wake up to the sunrise view. The restaurant is a bit pricy for what you get, but there's plenty of local warungs up on the main street, so you can easily go there if you come on motorbike. All in all highly recommendable and I would like to come back again.”

“Was staying at S3 room, beautiful place to stay with amazing view, wake up in the morning and directly see the sunrise & Batur mountain from your bed! The road to the camping site is a bit challenging, but they will drive you there, so, no worries.”

We enjoy it so much, especially the amazing scenery; the room is comfy and clean, and the food is also tasty, but unfortunately the service is slow during our dinner; it surely can be improved.
